You may use UPOV PRISMA to file your PVP application online to the

 State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI) and other PVP Offices worldwide

UPOV PRISMA is an online tool designed to facilitate plant variety protection (PVP) applications across PVP Offices worldwide.

With UPOV PRISMA, you can file PVP applications to the AGEPI for obtaining protection for plant variety in the Republic of Moldova, and 36 other jurisdictions covering 70+ countries, some of which also accept applications for national listing. UPOV PRISMA provides a unified user interface for all applications, simplifying the submission process. 

For applications to obtain protection for plant variety in the Republic of Moldova PVP forms must be submitted in Romanian. For other jurisdictions, you can provide the necessary information in convenient language and a translation tool will automatically generate application forms and technical questionnaires to the relevant language for each participating PVP Office.

Data you have already provided in one application form can be pre-filled in subsequent applications by using the “Copy application” feature. This allows for automated file preparation.

Payment of the UPOV PRISMA fee is made via the e-pay system (by credit card or bank transfer) at the time of making a submission to a PVP Office. The fee is 90 Swiss Francs and covers the PVP application as well as an application for national listing for the same variety. The fees must be paid in addition to the fee charged by the PVP Office.

When resubmissions are required, these expenses can quickly accumulate. With UPOV PRISMA, there are no costs for printing, packaging, or postage.
• Tracking information: it is possible to track all steps of the application with UPOV PRISMA, including an instant filling receipt.
