The 10th edition of the International Salon of Research, Innovation and Inventions ”PRO INVENT-2012” will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in the period from March 27 to 30. The organizers of the Salon are the Cluj-Napoca Technical University in collaboration with the Cluj Chamber of Commerce and Industry and EXPO Transilvania of Cluj-Napoca.
The Partners of the Salon are the following: The Academy of Technical Sciences - Cluj subsidiary, the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova, the Forum of Romanian Inventors, the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks, and the Romanian Society of Inventors.
The event will be organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport, and the National Authority for Scientific Research.
The 2012 jubilee edition of the “PRO INVENT” Salon will gather researchers and R&D institutions; will present and analyse new works in the field of scientific researchers, inventions and innovation, the most efficient solutions and means for the application of the scientific research results from Romania and abroad.

The Program of the Salon includes many actions, among which: the launch of the Dictionary of Contemporary Romanian Inventors, vol. III; The Stock of Inventions (meetings of researchers, innovators and inventors with the potential users, presentation of the technologies and products, making scientific connections).
For the Salon, only the patented works or in process to be patented is accepted. The applicant shall submit the following data:
- Name (institute, university, company, natural person, etc.)
- Name of the invention (in Romanian and English);
- Author/authors(scientific title, name, surname);
- The patented work (Patent No.) or the work in process to the patented;
- Short presentation, 6 lines at most;
- Applicability scope(s).
The application shall be filed by e-mail no later than March 1, 2012.
