AGEPI supports Innovative Achievements in the Field of Renewable Energy Sources


In the period 28 November – 2 December, at I.E.C. Moldexpo, is conducted the Responsible Eco Ideas Fair, organized by the Energy Efficiency Agency (EEA), in the Eco Energy Moldova Week.

The event aims at supporting the most important initiatives in the production and efficient consumption of energy, implementation, development and promotion of modern technologies and innovations in the field.

State Agency on Intellectual Property participates in the Responsible Eco Ideas Fair with an information stand. Agency specialists offer information and consultations on the national intellectual property system.

At the opening event were presented the main concerns of the State in the field of energy and the National Action Plan on Energy Efficiency.

The Agenda of Events also includes: Forum “Bioenergy - 2016: Towards a local energy autonomy”; Eco-Responsible Ideas Fair; Workshop “Energy performance of buildings and support mechanisms” and Eco-Energy Moldova Gala.

On November 30, on the third day of the Eco Energy Moldova Week, was held the Responsible Eco Ideas Fair.

The event was attended by Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property, Octavian Apostol, who noted that, AGEPI encourages inventors in all areas, including those in the Eco Energy area, to continue work to create new products and technologies that contribute to improving living conditions and daily life of people. AGEPI supports creative people through consultancy and other available means in order that their intellectual property may be protected, added Octavian Apostol.

Thus, participants who have submitted applications to the nomination Responsible Eco Ideas and passed the stages of selection, presented their project ideas to potential sponsors, at the same time in the Fair were also presented other projects in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector that are supposed to be funded, but which did not participate in the Moldova Eco Energy Contest, edition 2016. Participants presented various projects, from constructions of natural sheep wool insulation to processing of animal waste and production of biogas.

Also, in the Eco-Responsible Ideas block, AGEPI organized a seminar on the role of intellectual property in developing a business based on modern technologies. AGEPI specialists also talked about using patent information resources in solving problems in the field of renewable energy and extending the role of using intellectual products in economic development.

Eco-Responsible Ideas Fair winners will be announced at the Eco-Energy Moldova Gala, which will be held on December 2.
