AGEPI, Partner of the European Championship Latin Youth


The European Championship Latin Youth, organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova, the Moldova DanceSport Federation and the DanceSport Club “Codreanca”, took place on April 20-21, 2019, in the Palace of the Republic.

AGEPI participated in this event as a partner, to highlight the notoriety of DanceSport as a world-class interpretative art of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the universal values sports encompass - excellence, respect and fair play in the context of the activities dedicated to the World Intellectual Property Day, which in 2019 has the theme: Faster, stronger, higher! Reach for Gold: Intellectual Property and Sports.

We should mention that more than 50 couples and referees from 34 countries took part in this year’s Championship: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Switzerland, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, and Hungary.

The competition was a fierce one among the 6 couples who reached the final, and the final results showed as follows:

1st place: Vladislav Untu - Polina Baryshnikova, Moldova;

2nd place: German Pugachev - Ariadna Tishova, Russia;

3rd place: Marian Hlavac - Tereza Maturova, Czech Republic;

4th place: Nitu Eric Marius - Iosub Antonia Ioana, Romania;

5th place: Sergey Bykovsky - Uliana Zhukova, Russia;

6th place: Michele Musella - Johana Musella, Italy.

The participants were awarded trophies, medals and diplomas by international jury and organizers, and on the part of AGEPI benefited from special trophies accompanied by diplomas, gifts and informative materials in the field of intellectual property.
