The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated, on October 16, in the 28th edition of the International Specialized Exhibition-Fair (ISE) “Farmer”, which is held concurrently with the ISE Moldagroteh (autumn), from October 16 to 19, 2025, at Moldexpo. The exhibitions are held under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova and are organized by the International Exhibition Center “Moldexpo” in collaboration with the National Federation of Farmers of Moldova.
These exhibitions represented an important opportunity for AGEPI to contribute to the promotion and dissemination of information in the field of intellectual property.
AGEPI specialists provided free consultancy to participants on the national intellectual property protection system, with a special emphasis on the importance of protecting intellectual property in the agricultural industry. They also distributed leaflets and brochures in the field of IP to participants.
The exhibition “Farmer” focuses on promoting local and international agricultural products, with a wide range of seeds, fertilizers and equipment for animal husbandry. Also, solutions for small and medium-sized agriculture will be exhibited during the event, offering small farmers affordable modern technologies.
The two exhibitions bring together manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment, input suppliers, companies from the agri-food sector. They will also be attended by research institutions, development organizations, as well as farmers from all regions of the Republic of Moldova. This platform provides an opportunity to obtain information, exchange experiences and establish partnerships. The purpose of the events in question is to modernize agriculture and increase the competitiveness of this branch of the economy. This year’s edition of the exhibitions is attended by over 200 exhibitors from the Republic of Moldova, Italy, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine, presenting the latest agricultural technologies, precision equipment, digital solutions and related services for farmers and entrepreneurs in rural areas.
During the four days, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a varied program of presentations, technical demonstrations, round tables and thematic competitions. Among the attractions of the current editions of the two exhibitions are: the “Novelty of the Year 2025” competition, dedicated to the most innovative agricultural products and technologies; the “Leading Farmer” competition, which recognizes the merits of successful farmers; the central exhibition area, where you can admire tractors, combines, seeders and state-of-the-art equipment.
