The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) announces the availability of the new image search function into DESIGNview and TMView tools made available by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). This achievement marks an important step in the process of modernization and digitalization of intellectual property services offered to users in the Republic of Moldova.

The image search function is based on artificial intelligence and allows for more accurate and faster identification of visually similar industrial designs and trademarks. By using advanced algorithms, the system analyzes and compares uploaded images, providing relevant and efficient results, thus contributing to increasing the quality and accuracy of the search process.

The integration of this functionality is the result of cooperation between AGEPI and the European Union Intellectual Property Office, within the framework of the EU Project “Strengthening Intellectual Property Rights in Moldova and Ukraine” (EU4IP).
