On 8-10 June this year, at the rest camp “Camping” from Vadul lui Voda took place the ninth edition of the Sports Contest of the Public Service Employees from Chisinau. The event was organized by the Territorial Trade Union Association of the Public Service Trade Union Federation (SINDASP).

The solemn opening of the Sports Contest was attended by Valeriu Lazar, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Vlad Cantir, President of SINDASP, Tudor Soitu, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts, Maria Harbur, President of the Chisinau Territorial Trade Union Association, Iurie Onofriiciuc, mayor of Vadul lui Voda, Ion Tiganas, Deputy Director General of AGEPI, other officials, who wished the participants in the Sports Contest victories in competitions.

In the competitions participated about 400 sportsmen brought together in 15 teams, including teams of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Chamber of Accounts, State Tax Service, Customs Service, State Agency on Intellectual Property and other state institutions.

AGEPI team was led by Sergiu Branza, senior specialist of the Control and Legislation Enforcement Division, followed by 30 colleagues who were present at the sports events of volleyball, mini-football, table tennis, chess, checkers and darts. Thanks to their diligence the sportsmen from AGEPI achieved the greatest success in female darts (first place), female volleyball (second place) and male volleyball (third place).

In the overall classification, the first place was won by the team of the Ministry of Economy, which has accumulated the largest number of points.

It should be mentioned that participants in the Sports Contest, according to the results, were mentioned with diplomas and prizes, special surprises in collective and individual events.
