On 25 July this year, the Dreamups community gathered together young entrepreneurs, international speakers, mentors, investors and friends to celebrate the success of the four newest graduates of the Chisinau Founder Institute accelerator program, second edition.

In addition to the Graduation Ceremony, guests at the event had the opportunity to attend the finalist startup presentations, as well as to find out who the winners were.

Thus, the team that won the Silicon Valley trip consists of Iulian Gulea and Alexandru Varacuta, the founders of the BookVoyager startup.

Instead, the Duckinder startup founder Mariana Stratulat won the prize of 60,000 MDL for initial investment.

With a word of encouragement and congratulation for the graduates of the second edition of the Founder Institute Chisinsu program also came the Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), Lilia Bolocan, who mentioned that AGEPI is an honor and a privilege to support young entrepreneurs who demonstrate creativity, ingenuity, perseverance, while reiterating the importance of registering intellectual property objects just from the start of a business.

Founder Institute is the world’s largest startup launch program created in Silicon Valley. This program is present in more than 100 cities in 58 countries. Thanks to the program, over 2,000 companies have been launched so far, creating a total of 15 000+ jobs. In the Republic of Moldova this program was first launched in 2016 and successfully implemented by the Dreamups Innovation Campus. 26 young people participated in the first edition of the program, 6 of them being finalists.
