The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) informs about the publication of the Activity Report for 2025 – a reference document that presents the developments, results and main directions of action of the institution in the field of intellectual property (IP).
The report provides an overview of AGEPI’s activity, including relevant statistical data and detailed information on the patenting and registration of intellectual property objects, the legal dimension, promotion and training activities, as well as international cooperation. The document also reflects the progress made in modernizing services and strengthening institutional capacities.
In 2025, the trend of increasing the number of applications for the protection of intellectual property objects, as well as the titles of protection granted, was maintained, confirming the increased interest of the business environment and the innovative community in protecting creations and investments in intellectual property. The use of electronic services has also continued to expand, facilitating applicants’ access to administrative procedures.
The report also highlights the promotion and sensitization activities carried out by AGEPI, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of intellectual property protection. In addition, initiatives for cooperation with national and international partners are presented, which contribute to strengthening the IP system in the Republic of Moldova.
