Nicolae Eremia, doctor habilitate in agricultural sciences, university professor, State Agricultural University of Moldova, is the winner of the Award of the Government of the Republic of Moldova for Outstanding Inventor worth of 10 thousand lei. The distinguished scientist was honoured this award for the cycle of inventions in the field of veterinary medicine.
Nicolae Eremia has devoted his activity to complex research in improving the genetic background and animal nutrition, the safety of animal products and improving technologies for animal and bee breeding, obtaining, certifying and using beekeeping products in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine. Nicolae Eremia currently has 42 patents obtained both in the Republic of Moldova and Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
Through his research, the inventor has contributed, in particular, to the development of beekeeping, to the improvement of technologies for obtaining bee products and to their use in apitherapy.
The most outstanding inventor was selected by the jury of the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, which took place from 20 to 23 November 2019.
The nominal diploma and the trophy were presented to him by Andrei Popa, Interim Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), during the INFOINVENT winner award ceremony.
The International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT” was organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) and the International Exhibition Center (I.E.C.) “Moldexpo” J.S.C., in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and the National Agency for Research and Development.
The event was attended by approximately 80 institutions and enterprises, young creators and inventors from about 10 countries, who presented at the exhibition stands over 450 inventions, innovative and creative products/services, research, innovation and technology transfer projects, etc.
