In the period 12-16 October 2016, European Students’ Association AEGEE-Chisinau organized Autumn Agora Chisinau 2016, with the theme “Everybody in the Casa Mare”.
State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) was partner of the event.
On Wednesday, October 12, was given the start of works Autumn AGORA Chisinau 2016, held within the premises of the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers, which was attended by about 600 participants and 50 volunteers come from several European countries.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Trademarks and Industrial Design Department of AGEPI, Simion Levitchi, who noted that the organization of this event in Chisinau will bring an important contribution to strengthening lasting relations of cooperation between the youth organizations in the Republic of Moldova and those in the European Union.
In the event were organized a series of activities, such as fairs, workshops, training courses and workshops dedicated to the personal development of AEGEE members.
Autumn Agora Chisinau 2016 is the 62nd General Assembly in the history of AEGEE-Europe, but also the first organized in the Republic of Moldova and hosted by AEGEE-Chisinau.
The overall objective of the project is the inclusion of young people from the Republic of Moldova as part of the great European family, increasing the share of young Moldovans in decision-making structures of AEGEE Europe and their projects.
European Students’ Association AEGEE - Europe is a network of antennas throughout Europe as one of the most important interdisciplinary organizations worldwide. Promoting the idea of European integration and a united Europe among young people, European awareness and increase of the level of culture and information of students, AEGEE operates through 260 antennas spread over 260 universities in 40 countries of Europe with over 17,000 members.
