The Founding Meeting of the Association of Electronic Industry Companies of Moldova (ACEM) was held on 14 May.

The main goal of ACEM is to promote the growth of competitiveness and the development of the electronic industry sector in the Republic of Moldova through viable partnerships between private companies, public authorities and other national and international organizations.

Representatives of the electronic industry companies, potential full members of ACEM, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova, Swiss Cooperation Office, Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Technical University of Moldova, of the higher education institutions in the field of electronics of the republic were present at the founding meeting.

At the event was also present AGEPI Director General Lilia Bolocan, who highlighted the importance of innovations in the field of electronics, as well as AGEPI’s plenary support for the protection of Intellectual Property.

An exhibition of electronic products owned by electronic industry companies of the Republic of Moldova was presented during the event.

At the same time, the participants had the opportunity to visit the Electronics Production and Testing Laboratory “Informbusiness”, and a visit to ICS “Steinel Electronic” SRL was organized.
