Chamber of Commerce and Industry France-Moldova - Club France (CCIFM), with the support of Mobiasbanca-Groupe Societe Generale, organized on June 9, 2011, between the hours 8.30-14.30, the third edition of the Business Conference “Trademarks Day”, entitled “Quality Appellations of Origin”. The event will be held at Leogrand Convention Center.
Among organizers are counted the French Embassy in the Republic of Moldova, the French Alliance in Moldova, Moldovan and French successful companies.
The main theme of the current edition “Quality Appellations of Origin” is a topical issue for the Republic of Moldova, and French experience is particularly important and recognized in this respect. Topics covered will be protected appellations of origin and quality, and French experts will explain their essence and to which products are applied, what are the commercial benefits and requirements for a product to enjoy protection by the appellation of origin.
A number of French companies in the Republic of Moldova will share their experience, thus contributing to the modernization and development of various business fields. Moderators of the event will be the French experts: Mrs. Veronique FOUKS, Head of Legal and International Service under the National Institute of Appellations of Origin (INAO), and Mr. Pierre LARMANDIER, winemaker of Champagne area, Vice-President of the Communication and Champagne Designation of Origin Commission, Administrator of the Champagne Winemakers’ Union.
The event will be attended by the President of the CCI France-Moldova, Mr. Jean-François MYARD, His Excellency the Ambassador of France in the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Pierre Andrieu, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Mr. Valeriu LAZAR, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Vasile BUMACOV, and representatives of central public authorities, multinational companies of Moldova, local and foreign SMEs, educational institutions, international and local organizations, professionals in the field of communication, economic press, etc.
In a roundtable, devoted to the current situation in the Republic of Moldova in the reference field, Mrs. Svetlana Munteanu, Deputy Director General AGEPI, will present a communication. In the works of the conference will also take part a group of specialists of AGEPI, from the Trademarks and Industrial Designs Department and the Legal Department.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France-Moldova - Club France is a nongovernmental organization, founded in 2008, which aims primarily at participating in the promotion and development of investment and trade between France and Moldova, bringing together over 40 local and foreign companies.
